For procedures requiring dissection or removal of the atrial appendage, we have created the Heart with Replaceable LAA. This product features a non-patent right heart anatomy that has a tunnel from the IVC for catheterization providing access through the atrial septum to a patent left atrial appendage for interventional procedures. Alternately, the LAA may be approached surgically from the thoracic cavity. Replaceable appendages (item 1250) are available. A pericardium is available upon request.
