Saphenous Vein Trainer Item 1040, 1041
A dual component system for vessel harvesting.
The Saphenous Vein Trainer consists of a reusable base (Item 1041) and replaceable training insert (Item 1040) for lifelike simulation of endoscopic, MIS, or open harvesting of the saphenous vein. The base and cover are angled to follow the natural bend of the knee. The skin-covered insert has a 26" x 3" wide x 1" deep area of fatty tissue with embedded, branching vessel. Branches may be transected with a variety of instruments, including ultrasound scalpel. Insert is also available with clear skin and fatty tissue for direct vessel visualization (Item 1197).
