Description
This two-layered, mimetic, tissue with flat polyps was developed for simulating endoscopic submucosal injection with an injection agent.* Injection of agent causes the tissue to rise in the correct shape beneath the polyp. Provide users with the “feel” of injecting into life-like tissue. Demonstrate how the bulking effect of agent serves to separate tissue layers. Train or demonstrate proper positioning relative to the pathology to yield a good, bulking injection.
NOTE: *Needle and injection agent not included with purchase.
Each strip offers 6 polyp demo pads and is scored to permit easy removal of used pads. Polyps are approximately 20mm in diameter and raised approx. 2.5 mm above the surface of the pad.
