Our popular Mitral Valve Prolapse Trainer was an early success for The Chamberlain Group and was well-received in academic and medical device circles since its introduction in 2002.
Based on physician feedback, we have now developed the new Mitral Valve Prolapse Trainer (#1320) with slightly modified anatomy, providing approximately 6% more valve area and annulus in a different polymer formulation with improved suturability. A delicate prolapsed posterior leaflet is intended for incision and suture repair.
As with our other mitral valve trainers, the New Mitral Valve Prolapse Trainer provides interior access to the valve through the trainer base.
