The Chamberlain Group’s Uterine Surgical Trainer is a realistic anatomical model designed for physician training in myomectomy, full hysterectomy, and sacrocolpopexy.
The trainer allows practice of all three procedures using a single Replacement Uterus/vaginal canal (#3064).
- Myomectomy can be performed to enucleate seven myomas from the uterus, followed by a two-layer suturable closure.
- The uterus can then be separated from the vaginal canal to complete a full hysterectomy.
- The remaining vaginal canal can be attached to mesh, and sacrocolpopexy performed by securing the sling to the sacral tissue patch.
The uterus and vaginal canal can be easily replaced to repeat procedures. The uterus can be positioned in either anteversion or retroversion. The sacral tissue patch (#3066) is also replaceable.
